There are many different online computer jobs advertised but finding the right one for you can be difficult. First things first - forget about the idea of earning hundreds of pounds ( or dollars ) within the first few months, I'm here to tell you that that is not going to happen. Secondly be prepared for a lot of patience and dedication - this is going to be hard work.

Unfortunately a lot of people think of online computer jobs and they see dollar signs in their eyes. If this was the case then why isn't everyone working online? They are not working online because it was not what they expected, and in some cases it turned out to be a complete nightmare.

Most of these online computer jobs that turn out to be nightmares are what we call scams. These are a pet hate of mine as I have seen many people go down this path and basically lose money they really could not afford to lose. People put money aside to start off their online career and make the wrong choice in the process losing that little nest egg and their hope of a new job.

if you come across any sort of offer you like the look of then make sure you check it out thoroughly first. This can be done easily enough by the use of any search engine. Type in the name of the website you have an interest in and include the word 'scam' or 'rip off' in the search term. When the results come in look carefully at the first three pages to see if you can find anyone's negative report on the site. If someone has been ripped off you will find their story on the first three pages.

But make sure you check out all reports on the online computer jobs that you have an interest in - just because one person had a bit of a dodgy experience it does not mean that most people have had the same. In some cases only a handful of people are the unlucky ones when the other 99% have had great success.

Using one of the many online computer jobs to make a living is going to be a really hard task. I would advise you not to quit the day job to go online and look for riches, run the two side by side to begin with and see how successful you are after the first couple of months. Remember, online computer jobs will take more work to succeed through than your everyday 'outside' jobs. You will not be working a nine to five day, you will be working much longer hours.
